Senior Java Software Developer — Distributed Systems

We are developing critical backend systems running in a distributed environment. There are many integrations, data flows and processes that require high reliability. We need someone with strong Java experience who understands multithreaded systems, microservices, streaming and production-grade application operations.

This is a role for a senior engineer who can take ownership of an important system area, work with stakeholders and keep the technical quality high at the same time.

• Distributed backend applications in Java.

• Experience with Kafka or similar streaming solutions.
• SQL and database experience.
• Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift or public cloud.
• Understanding of 12-factor app design.
• Ability to work with a high level of ownership.
• Very good English communication skills.
